HIKING

The starting point is the large car park. The APW 156 Alpine Panorama Trail leads to the Weisses Kreuz. Past the Anderle Kreuz, over the Pölling (1,776 m), it takes about 1.5 hours at a leisurely pace. At the Weisses Kreuz there is a small rest area with seating and a wonderful panoramic view! A small memorial plaque tells of the fate of a poor dairymaid who died here in winter together with her animals.

If you feel like going further, you can hike along the Lattersteig trail to the Bretthöhe and back to Hochrindl via the Großer and Kleiner Speikkofel peaks. Although you need a bit of luck, you can always observe the rare and majestic golden eagle with a wingspan of up to 2.30m in this alpine area.
